Laptop Scoreboard v1.4 Download

Everyone is welcome to download this program.  There is no license required.  There is no warranty implied.

This is an ideal portable scoreboard that can be used with a laptop computer when running a basketball game in a gym where there is no scoreboard OR when a backup scoreboard is desired in case the electronic scoreboard becomes inoperable.  

Run this program from a laptop computer at a scorer's table which is in-between the benches .  It can easily be seen by those people closely behind the table.  Coaches may step behind the scorer's table and see the time, score, and other details of the game.

This program has been tested on most current Microsoft based operating systems including Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 98.  It may work on other operating systems, but it has never been tested.  There is a way to run it on an Apple computer, but you will need to consult with someone else to help you. 

BE SURE TO SET YOUR DISPLAY RESOLUTION TO 1024 x 768 when running Laptop Scoreboard.
To be really cool, you could connect your laptop to a BIG external monitor and put the monitor where the most people could see it.  Since many schools have big monitors with VCR's on portable stands, this is an excellent, cost effective way to create a scoreboard.  You just need a long video output cable (such as s-video, or similar) to connect your laptop to the monitor.
